YOU BELONG TO ELITE

Stress Relief
It is widely understood that exercise is beneficial physically, but those who do not exercise fail to recognize the benefits for mental health. Physical exercise reduces fatigue, improves alertness, concentration and enhances cognitive function overall. When your body feels better so does your mind.

You Need Energy
While individuals who do not have a steady workout regimen believe they are too tired to work out, those who exercise regularly understand just how much more energy they obtain by doing so.

It’s Not Difficult
In our experience, it’s harder for individuals to make a decision to apply some lifestyle changes than for them to step onto a treadmill and walk a mile. It’s not the going that gets tough; it’s just tough for you to decide to get going. That is why Elite is accessible for all your fitness needs 24/7.

Exercising is Fun
At Elite, exercising is fun. While burning calories on the treadmill, watch some TV on our personal monitors or even bring your device and pop in your earbuds. Some of our clientele listen to their favorite music while others may enjoy an audiobook from one of their favorite authors or motivational speakers.

You Have Time
The reality is that we are all busy. Our clientele consists of working moms, men and women who work inconsistent hours or second and third shifts, families that require more than a “table for three” and, of course, young adults who are balancing new lifestyles with aggressive schedules. That is why Elite is accessible 24/7.
Commonly Asked Questions & Tips
Start with Reasonable Goals: Don’t set out to start a rigorous regimen right from the beginning. Instead, start exercising at a moderate pace and increase as soon as you stop feeling challenged. Try 30 minutes, three times a week and see how you feel.
Are you a beginner? The first six weeks of your training program are critical even though you may not see significant results. Just remember that the first six weeks lay the foundation. The quality of your workout is most important! Challenge yourself every time you come in. Sweating is okay. If you aren’t breaking a sweat, then work harder.
If you are working out once a week, then you’re not going to achieve the results you’re probably looking for. No matter what your goal is, you must be working out at least every other day, meaning that you’re working out at least 3-4 times per week. No matter what advertisements may tell you, it’s simply consistency that produces results.
Diet is a big factor no matter what results you’re seeking. If your goal is to lose weight, then you need to eat fewer calories than you’re burning. If you’re looking to build mass, then you need to do the exact opposite, carefully. Ask an Elite team member for friendly, helpful advice.
If you want to lose weight, you must learn to eat healthy. Don’t fall into a diet that you would fall out of quickly. Sometimes, just reading your food labels and checking the nutritional facts to ensure you’re eating healthy is a great start. Ultimately, don’t create obstacles to achieving the results you’re seeking. Keep it simple in the beginning.
Exercise can boost metabolism for a few hours, but burning more calories can increase your appetite. To avoid the munchies after exercising (and eating back the calories you just burned), try to schedule workouts so that you have a meal within an hour afterward.
Keep track of when and for how long you’re exercising. Make notes in your calendar, or keep an exercise journal. Writing down your day-by-day results will keep you accountable and show you how hard you’re working. There are a plethora of apps available on smart devices that can help you keep up with it all. Keep a process-driven attitude rather than a results-driven attitude. If you stick with the process, the results will come. If you focus too much on immediate results, you’ll give up on the process.
An exercise partner can keep you accountable as long as they are as motivated as you are. Workout partners can increase the chance that you will reach your fitness goals. Just like having a personal trainer who can provide encouragement and motivation, monitor your progress, and make exercising more fun, having a workout buddy can increase the likelihood that you will stick to a fitness routine.
Remember that our dedicated staff at Elite is always here to help you with your fitness goals. While shedding pounds or gaining muscle mass may be your goal, the real results long-term are a healthier lifestyle that is beneficial for you short-term and long-term both physically and mentally.
